International Families

Adopt America works with non US citizen families around the world. These are known as "outgoing" cases.

There have been changes that have been brought about by the United State’s ratification of the Hague Treaty on April 1, 2008. For non US citizens living abroad, there will not be any change in the process IF families applied with the adoption authority in their country prior to April 1, 2008.

For the time being, Adopt America can work with families who meet the above criteria.
